In traditional eastern medicine the three treasures are known as JING, QI & SHEN. They are fundamental energies that maintain human life and are thancient Daoist keys to health. They have their own features but cannot be seperated completely. Jing, Qi, Shen, as the origin of life must be protected and cultivated if health and longevity are to be achieved and maintained. The Three Treasure Facial is delivered in 3 stages, not only addressing the visible skin on the face, but connecting with the source of what gives skin it's youthful appearance; the optimal performance of the organs and balance of the mind and spirit.
'Jing'- Rejuvenation, Essence & Pro Ageing
The first treasure is called 'Jing' which translates as 'essence' and is seen as the basis of growth, development and reproduction. This part of the treatment aims to strengthen your Jing by the natural stimulation of meridian points that connect to various different organs.
The skin is prepared with a Prologic skincare cleansing ritual and enzyme treatment before the insertion of fine acupuncture needles into specific points of the face and along fine lines. You will then relax under our Dermalux Tri Wave MD LED light therapy device for 20 minutes.
On removal of the acuncture needles, this part of the treatment is completed with Gua Sha facial massage using premium jade tools and Prologic massage oil to support the production of collagen and elastin, release natural ions and purify the blood to promote a youthful complexion.
'Qi' - Nutritive, Elimination of Toxins & Organ Health
Qi is the vital energy of the body, the source of all movement. The abdominal area is 'the engine of the mind and this part of the treatment is designed to enhance your qi by connecting with 'the root' of the digestive system. A premium jade bell massager is used to apply specialised acupressure massage that focuses on the organs, helping to disperse blocked energy and toxic waste creating balance and energy.
'Shen' - Spirit Balance
Shen is translated as 'Spirit' or 'Mind'. Shen is responsible for consciousness, cognition, emotional life and our presence. The Three Treasure Facial concludes with the application of Tourmaline crystal pellets on the 'shen men' point on each ear (Auricular Therapy) to help achieve balance within the mind and spirit creating homeostasis.
