Hi, I'm

Sarah,

The Skin Wytch

I don't follow the latest 'skincare' fads that you might see on Tik Tok, because I know that not all skincare is skin CARE!

All I can say is it's a good job our hearts don't reside on the outside of our body like our skin does, or we would be in big trouble.

Too many people are intent on poking, peeling, scubbing & stripping this precious organ - would you do the same if you could get your hands on your heart? I think not...

Make friends with your skin ~ it works hard for you every single day.

My passion is to help people achieve their best skin, so that they can blossom with the confidence that only comes from within.

When it comes to treating skin, I see myself as a 'roofer'! When initially looking at an individual skin, before considering the muscles or any other structures that reside under the surface, my first priority is to maintain, or if need be, repair the epidermis - the part of the skin that we can touch and feel.

If the epidermis is reslient & healthy, everything else can skip along more happily under the surface - after all, you wouldn't put new carpets in your home if your roof with holes in it, would you?

Achieving healthy and beautiful skin isn't an overnight process - skin is our largest organ and it deserves to be treated with the respect it deserves; this starts with using the correct homecare.

If a client only had the budget for either professional customised skin care or to have a monthy facial treatment, I would recommend skin care every time - it really is that important and also key to maintaing the results of in house facials.

For this reason, I recommend that all new clients who are starting on their skin journey with me book in for an initial consultation.

I turned 53 last year and people often say I don’t look my age

Maybe I do, maybe I don't - who cares?

I believe it's not about trying to look younger than our age, what is more important is aiming to be the best version of ourselves, whatever age we are at and feeling good on the inside - when we feel good, we look good too!

Stress ages us from the inside out- when we are going through periods of extreme stress or trauma, the fibroblast cells that make our dermal proteins, collagen, elastin & hyaluronic acid literally stop working during that time. Whilst using the correct skin care will go a long way to help your skin, it's not going to change what is happening on the inside.

Twenty years ago I spiralled into the depths of alcohol addiction and my face was the least of my concerns - it was lucky if it got a swipe with a wet flannel!

The skin is an amazing organ though and it's never too late to turn it around and achieve your best skin, no matter your age, or what you've been through - if I can look half decent after what I put my body through, anyone can, but it does take time and commitment to see lasting improvements; there aren't really any quick fixes when it comes to skin.

Sarah xx
