Healthy skin

Skin needling, also known as microneedling, is the world's number 1 treatment for skin rejuvenation, with each treatment creating stronger, healthier & more youthful looking skin. During a treatment, tiny sterile needles create punctures to the skin, initiating a wound healing response, resulting in new collagen being formed.



Youth proteins

We have a layer of our skin called the dermis, which is what gives our skin it’s support & structure - think of the coiled springs in a mattress that keep it supported & firm. These ‘springs’ are protein fibres called collagen and elastin; they are made by cells called fibroblasts which also make hyaluronic acid, the dermal protein that retains our skin’s moisture. Prior to skin needling, the fibroblast cells we have are the same ones we have had since we were 20 years old; they become tired & become less efficient at creating our ‘youth proteins’, resulting in a sagging ‘mattress’.

Skin needling is the ONLY skin rejuvenation treatment that has the ability to stimulate the fibroblast cells to divide to create brand NEW ones - how exciting is that? A skin needling treatment can increase collagen production by up to 400%. What this means for you is an improvement in fine lines, wrinkles & open pores. Skin needling can also be used to treat other skin conditions such as pigmentation, rosacea, acne & scarring.

Safety first

Not all skin needling treatments are created equal - I hold an internationally recognised VTCT level 4 qualification and perform my treatments using the Exceed microneedling device by Amiea Med, the world's first and ONLY double FDA cleared device for facial wrinkles and acne scars with MHRA registration.

Traditional device treatment tips can cause scratches to the surface of the skin, the Exceed pen employs a sterile, single use floating treatment tip, a world first that signifcantly reduces epidermal scratching. The tip incorporates the most advanced flluid membrane to ensure no fluid ingress into the handpiece.

Results driven

Skin needling is a results driven treatment with each treatment building on the last and for this reason, I don't offer one off treatments; this treatment is exclusive to my Skin Membership program, which has a minimum term of 6 months. A minimum course of 3 treatments is necessary and for optimal results, 6 treatments may be required. Before beginning a course of skin needling, it is necessary for me to assess your suitability for treatment and to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition. Skin membership

Skin membership represents exceptional value for those commited to making long term improvements to the health and appearance of their skin. On the 6 month plan, a skin needling treatment is included every 2nd month after the 2nd monthy payment has been made. You can choose to bring forward your first skin needling treatment by paying an additional £69 at your appointment. As part of your skin membership you also have access to the Skin Wytch Academy, in which I run 4 online face workout sessions evey week - this will boost the results of in clinic treatments if you make it part of your skin care routine.
